To Our Valued Hong Kong Guests

March 01, 2019

We want your trip to be as pleasant and memorable as possible especially for those who are availing under the promo packaged tours. We hope that these can help and/or enlighten you on your trip:

1.) All promo package inclusions are as is.
Since these packages are arranged by the Hong Kong tour operator, all inclusions stated in the package cannot be amended.

2.) Cheap Package = Manage Expectations
As mentioned in #3, there are hotels who do not offer basic toiletries or even WiFi to cut on cost.  Most of the cheaper package is also far from downtown or city center and it will cost you more than what you paid for when you travel to these places. You may purchase Hong Kong octopus card to use on MTR (click on the link to know more). There are also better hotel accommodations within the city center but, of course, different rate applies.

3.)  Toiletries or Personal Kits
For your own convenience, bring your own travel kit (personal kit / toiletries enough for your travel). Most cheap hotel package do not offer these basic necessities. Just make sure you check-in all liquid more than 100ml. For guests without checked luggage, make sure you pack the items tightly, sealed and keep liquid sizes below 100ml.

4.) Half Day City Tour
Purchasing a package will always include a half day city tour. This compulsory tour is a great way to explorer Hong Kong especially for first timers. Tour guides will also take this opportunity to sell you something and they are at times, very persuasive. This tour is mandatory BUT purchasing of items being sold there IS NOT. You can always say NO if you do not like what they are offering. Do not be intimidated.

5.) Pocket Wifi or 3G/4G HK Sim
WiFi is almost everywhere in Hong Kong but in cases that there are no wifi in the area or in the hotel (Rambler Garden for example), you can register your local sim card for roaming, bring an open-line pocket WiFi or purchase Hong Kong 3G/4G Sim card from us for only Php350, to stay connected.

6.) Bring your own adaptor
In Hong Kong, the plug or power socket is different from the ones we use. You can purchase a universal type G socket which can support 220v before traveling.

7.) Restricted items in Disneyland
For the comfort and safety of their guests, Disneyland prohibits inside the park items such as monopods, selfie sticks, large tripods, folding chairs, toy guns to name a few. You may visit their website to know more of the items not allowed inside the park:  https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/faq/park/restricted-items/

8.) Always check weather updates
It is best to check the weather updates at least 3 days prior your trip. The Hong Kong Observatory website shows 9 day weather forecasts so you can be prepared on your travel! Visit: https://www.hko.gov.hk/m/fnd.htm
